Move legacy on-premises licenses to a new computer
The process consists of deactivating the existing license on the old computer and then activating it on the new computer.
- Deactivate the licenses on your old computer.
- Save your on-premises license entitlement certificate on the new computer.
- If necessary, install and set up an on-premises license server on the new computer.
- If necessary, modify the firewall settings to allow licensing traffic.
- Activate your on-premises licenses on the new computer.
- Connect Tekla Structures to the on-premises license server on the new computer.
