You can print your drawing to multiple sheets. This is particularly useful if your
drawing contains several drawings.
The Print on multiple sheets setting on the Options tab prints the drawing on multiple sheets. Before printing to multiple sheets, make
sure that the layout of the drawing supports printing on several smaller sheets.
-
Open a drawing.
-
On the File menu, click Print drawings.
-
In the upper-left corner of the
Print drawings dialog, ensure Use one printer is selected.
-
Load the desired printing
settings that are suitable for printing to multiple sheets from the settings
list, or adjust the settings according to your needs.
Click the preview area to show
what the end result will look like with the current settings. When you change
settings, the preview will adjust immediately.
-
On the Options tab, define the following:
- Select the Printer printing option.
- Select the Print on multiple sheets checkbox and select the direction of printing of the sheets. The
options are Left to right, top to bottom and Bottom to top, right to left. The preview shows how the drawing is divided into sheets.
- When you use Print on multiple sheets, always set a particular Scale. Setting Scale to 1 preserves the scale.
- Define other needed printing settings on the Options tab, for example, the paper size and printing color mode.
-
Define the output line color and
width on the Line properties tab.
