XS_DRAWING_PART_REFERENCE_LINE_TYPE
Category in Advanced options dialog:Drawing properties
Use this advanced option to set the reference line location in drawings.

You can decide to ignore the method how the part is inserted in the model by using one of the available switches.
In the following examples the part has been created with specific position settings (On plane, Rotation, At depth) and end offset settings (Dx, Dy, Dz).

You can use the switches listed below. If you
leave the value out, Tekla Structures uses POINT_LINE.
-
POINT_LINEtakes into account both the position setting At depth 50 mm and the end offset Dz -50 mm, so the line is located in the same relational position as you see it in model.
-
DEFINITION_LINEcreates a line between the part’s definition points, takes account the position settings, but ignores the end offsets, so the reference line is drawn using the At depth 50 mm, but the end offset Dz -50 mm is ignored.
-
CORNER_REFERENCE_LINEignores both position settings and end offsets, and draws the reference line so that it is located on the part and not outside the part. It ignores the way that the part is inserted in the model.
This advanced option is model specific and the setting is saved in the options database.
