Assigning rules to pictures in Template Editor

You can assign rules to pictures to define when they are output.

Ensure you have set the File Locations preferences before you begin.

Do the following to apply a rule to the picture that has already been inserted into the template component:

Select the picture and double-click it to modify the properties.
The Picture Properties dialog opens
Click Rule to open the Rule Contents dialog box
Inside the conditional statement you can use predefined attributes, already created value fields or combination of these with various data and string operations and formulas.
Here is an example of a rule that includes a picture. The name of the picture file must appear in the rule.
Click the Check button to ensure the syntax of the rule is correct.
Click OK to save the changes.
Save the template.

The picture will be output according to the rules you have applied to it.
