Adding symbols to a template in Template Editor

Ensure you have set the File Locations preferences before you begin.

To insert a symbol into a template component:

On the toolbar, click the symbol button.
Select the Symbol library where the symbol is located. Select the Directory and then select the File.
Click OK.

The Select Symbol window opens.
Select the symbol and click OK.
Click the insertion point in the component and click the mouse to finish inserting the symbol.
Select the symbol and double-click it to modify the properties or select a different symbol.
