You can convert a single-user model to a multi-user model and open it in multi-user mode.
You have different options for
converting a single-user model to a multi-user model, depending on whether the model
is currently open or not.

On the File menu, click .
The Convert to multi-user model dialog appears.

Enter the multi-user server name or select
the name from the list.

Click Convert.

Convert a
single-user model that is not currently open
|

On the File menu, click .

Select the single-user model to be
converted from the list of models.

When the
model properties are visible, click Convert to multi-user model.
The Convert to multi-user model dialog appears.

Enter the multi-user server name or
select the name from the list.

Click Convert.

Convert any
single-user model on the Tekla Structures start
screen
|

Start Tekla Structures.
-
On the
Tekla Structures - Setup screen select the environment, role and
configuration.

Click
OK.
The start
screen appears.

On the
Recent or All models tab, select a single-user model.
Single-user models have
symbol in the Users column.

Next to
the Open button, click the arrow and select Convert to multi-user model.
The
Convert to multi-user model dialog appears.

Enter the multi-user server name or select the name from
the list.

Click
Convert.
