Tekla Structures 2025 SP9
The latest Tekla Structures service pack and updated environment installers are available in Trimble Downloads.
Tekla Structures 2025 SP9.1
Tekla Structures 2025 SP9.1 was released to resolve a critical on-premises licensing issue (TTSD-77227) in Tekla Structures 2025 SP9. The issue impacted all legacy on-premises (FlexNet) licenses, but did not impact online subscription licenses.
After the software had been left idle for a period, Tekla Structures falsely reported that the license was no longer available. It was not possible to reconnect to the license server, and clicking Save the model and close Tekla Structures could fail to save recent changes, forcing users to rely on autosave files.
Tekla Structures 2025 SP9.1 is a full installation package. Tekla Structures 2025 SP9.1 contains all the fixes from Tekla Structures 2025 SP9, along with the additional fix described above.
Users who need this fix should download Tekla Structures 2025 SP9.1
AI-powered modeling with Tekla Model Assistant (Preview)
Tekla Structures 2025 SP9 introduces the Tekla Model Assistant tool as a Preview feature.
Tekla Model Assistant is an agentic AI tool integrated into Tekla Structures that uses natural language to perform modeling and drawing tasks. The assistant is available in the Tekla Model Assistant side pane window. Tekla Model Assistant is context-aware and allows you to create model objects, such as beams and pad footings, modify object properties, and automate drawing operations such as creating GA drawings.
For example, you can ask Tekla Model Assistant to Create a 3x3 grid with pad footings at every intersection, Set class 5 on all HEA300 beams, or Add part marks to all columns in this drawing.
You can customize Tekla Model Assistant by defining rules and skills that are loaded from user settings, model, project, or firm folders. You can also use Tekla Model Assistant with Trimble Connect to download and import files from a Trimble Connect project and to upload PDF drawings.
To answer questions about how to use Tekla Structures, Tekla Model Assistant uses Trimble User Assistance information and breaks down complex requests into individual steps and displays its progress as it processes your requests. Tekla Model Assistant automatically signs you in using your Trimble Identity from your active Tekla Structures session.
How Tekla Model Assistant works
The assistant reads your live Tekla Structures context, such as your selected objects and active views. This means you do not need to manually enter data or copy-paste information for the assistant to understand what you are working on.
The assistant breaks down complex requests, uses the output of one tool as the input for the next to perform a chain of actions. It can handle workflows with multiple steps autonomously.
The assistant is agentic, but it is not fully independent. The assistant will ask for confirmation on risky operations, and it will only perform actions based on instructions.

New AI platform for Trimble Assistant for Tekla
A new version of Trimble Assistant for Tekla is now available, powered by a proprietary Trimble AI platform. This version is currently in development.
The existing version of the Trimble Assistant for Tekla remains available as Trimble Assistant for Tekla (Classic). In the Trimble Assistant for Tekla side pane, you can change between the new version and the (Classic) version. Conversation history is not shared between the new version and the (Classic) version.
For more information, see Trimble Assistant for Tekla.

Improved cloning of section views and level marks
Level marks are now cloned correctly when cloning section views in general arrangement drawings. The cloned section views also display the target floor information correctly.

Moving drawing views containing plugins
Moving drawing views containing plugins from one drawing to another now works more reliably.
For more information about moving drawing views to another drawing, see Copy, move, and link drawing views.

New geographical data storage location for Tekla Model Sharing and Trimble Connector
Tekla Model Sharing and Trimble Connector: United Kingdom is now supported as a geographical data storage location for Tekla Model Sharing and Trimble Connector. You can select United Kingdom as a data storage location when sharing a model or starting a new Trimble Connect project. Once the United Kingdom region is active in Trimble Connector, it will automatically appear as a selectable option.
