Administrator's release notes: Instructor pane

Tekla Structures 2021 introduces the Instructor side pane. You can now add help content to applications, components, macros, and custom components that are in the Applications & components catalog.

You can also add this content easily in Tekla Structures service packs. One good option is to upload the content to Tekla Warehouse only. This will keep your environment smaller.

To do:

Add help content to the tools in the Applications & components catalog, see New Instructor side pane and other help changes

Select a tool in the Applications & components catalog.
Click the Add help files button in the Instructor side pane.
Select the following in the wizard:
- Tool
- Supported languages
- Folder to save the help files in
  This can be the model folder. Copy the needed xml file and help content folder to the wanted folder in the XS_SYSTEM path.
Open the folder and update the help content in the index.html file.
