IFC export property set improvement

The IfcRoof, IfcRamp and IfcStair property set definitions could not be included in the IFC export without including the IfcElementAssembly as well. This has now been fixed.

Longer IFC2x3 export output file path

The Output file path character limit has been increased from 72 characters to 247 characters.

Export Unitechnik (79): New way to control exported reinforcement

There is a new way to control exported reinforcement: An external definition file can be used to overwrite type and designation information, which is usually determined automatically from model objects. You can specify the reinforcement definition file on the Reinforcement data tab. The definition file is a .csv file, with a fixed structure.

Defect number Development area Description
TSAC-3382 Concrete components Wall layout: Modifying a wall layout with sub-assembly based layers by changing the layer creation to Add to cast unit has been improved. Previously, some layers could not be updated.
TSAC-4886 Concrete components Mesh bars: Applying negative cover thickness for meshes has been improved.
TSAC-5240 Concrete components Reinforcement mesh array (91): Integers are now used for mesh sizes when calculating the overlapping of the meshes. This means that instead of shortening the mesh to 0.99, the mesh size is rounded up to a full mesh and the overlapping is increased.
TSAC-5258 Concrete components Reinforced concrete stair (95): End condition settings for the rebars created on the Bar H tab are no longer applied when they are hidden as not to be used for particular rebar shapes.
TSAC-5325 Concrete components Braced girder creation (88)(89): The GUID of the top bar (b) is now written as a user-defined attribute GIRDER_TOP_GUID to all elements in the braced girder.
TSAC-5421 Concrete components Mesh bars: Cover thickness is now applied correctly for the cuts which protrude the side of the slab.
TTSD-43572 Concrete components In some very rare cases, Tekla Structures could crash when deleting a Wall layout connector in the model.
This has now been fixed and Tekla Structures is working correctly when deleting the connections made with Wall layout connector.
TSAC-2651 Steel components U.S. Base plate (1047): It is now possible to set the Gage material UDA for the leveling plate on the Parts tab.
TSAC-5308 Steel components Tube gusset (20): Previously, assembly numbering of the gusset plate was not correctly set when the component was used to create a connection to an I profile main part.

TTSD-28819 Templates and reports Tapered rebar pull-out dimensions were incorrect in the PDF report output. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43851 Templates and reports The fix for decimal commas in reporting (TTSD-36249) has been reverted to prevent issues in .xls reports.
TSAC-4890 Drawings Grid labels: In advanced drawing grid labels, the positioning of the labels for non-aligned grids has now been fixed. Previously, labels in 3D views, and grids with manually moved ends were not always placed correctly.
TTSD-30765 Drawings Drawing views were not correctly updated when the part shorten UDA (xs_shorten) was used. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-35964 Drawings Detail mark labels no longer move without a reason in drawings after the model has been been modified.
TTSD-40102 Drawings The direction of the section mark symbols was incorrect when the section view was not oriented orthogonally. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-41363 Drawings Sometimes drawing dimensions could not find associated objects correctly when shapes had complex profiles. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-41576 Drawings Weld marks no longer move incorrectly when a drawing is opened after model has changed.
TTSD-41581 Drawings GA drawing view creation now works also if the model contains some invalid data.
TTSD-41817 Drawings Drawing view frame was sometimes unnecessarily expanded when a template was used in the mark content. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-41850 Drawings Level marks were placed incorrectly at drawing update. This has now been fixed. This fix does not affect level marks created with older Tekla Structures versions, or level marks that are incorrectly associated.
TTSD-41941 Drawings Some colors were printed differently than they were shown in the drawing mode. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-42066 Drawings The drawing update process has been optimized and is faster now.
TTSD-42926 Drawings Parts were not visible when you had copied a view from another drawing. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43194 Drawings Graphical fields in reports were incorrectly placed in multidrawings with layouts. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43212 Drawings Rebar sets were causing problems in detailed object level settings. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43381 Drawings Weld marks are now cloned better when you clone a drawing from another model.
TTSD-44061 Drawings Layout editor: Previously, Tekla Structures sometimes crashed when you tried to save a drawing layout. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-44330 Drawings Tiny dimension rule associativity lists are no longer displayed if associativity rules are not found for dimension points.
TTSD-39879 Tekla Model Sharing Tekla Model Sharing: Previously, when you wrote out or read in model changes for the first time during a session, the status bar message for successful read in or write out was not shown. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-40240 Tekla Model Sharing Tekla Model Sharing: Previously, Tekla Structures crashed if upgrading the model history database failed when the model was saved. This has now been fixed, so that an error message is printed in the session log instead. Tekla Structures also now shows an error message and prevents opening the model if initializing the model history database fails.
TTSD-43358 Tekla Model Sharing Tekla Model Sharing:  Previously, if an object had been manually assigned to a pour unit, and the assigned object or pour objects were modified afterwards, the manual assignment was lost. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43406 Tekla Model Sharing Tekla Model Sharing: Previously, shared profiles could sometimes be accidentally overwritten in the profile catalog. This has now been fixed, so that sharing profile changes is more secure.
TTSD-35722 Modeling With lofted plates, when the curve length was smaller than the part height and the lofted plate was inquired, the height was reported twice and the length value was lost. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-41620 Modeling In some situations, Tekla Structures could crash when saving or autosaving the model. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-42507 Modeling Now, when you select Objects by phases in Phase manager, the object handle points are not shown in the property pane anymore if the object and the handle points are in the same phase.

Construction points are still shown in the selection results in the property pane. This prevents the accidental movement of part reference points which could result in a corrupted model.
TTSD-43014 Modeling Tekla Structures no longer crashes when trying to repair a model with recursive assembly hierarchies.
TTSD-43309 Modeling Previously, Tekla Structures crashed if you were snapping to a reference model in a view where many lines were seen as one and the snap to intersection points switch was active. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-43344 Modeling When you now inquire a weld, set weld user-defined attributes (UDAs) are shown in the Inquire dialog box.

TTSD-42333 Tools and components In some cases, when modifying custom component parameters, if you wanted to undo the modification, you had to perform the undo command twice. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-38711 Numbering Previously, overlapping numbering series could result in two different assemblies receiving the same family numbering qualifier. Now the assemblies whose numbers would overlap are no longer numbered in family numbering.
TTSD-32935 User interface Property pane performance has been improved. Showing the common properties of the selected multiple objects and switching between the selected object types in the property pane is now faster than before, especially when several UDAs have been added to the property pane template.

TSAC-4473 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export ELiPLAN file (68): Weep holes at the start and at the end of the hollow core element are now always exported aligned in one line. Cuts smaller than 100 mm at the start and at the end are ignored, otherwise the weep holes are offset respectively to the cut size.
TSAC-4953 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): A new option has been added to the Auto-rotate on pallet list on the TS configuration tab. When the Auto-rotate on pallet option is selected, the element is rotated based on the fixed set of rules defining that the longer edge with no cuts or protruding embeds is at the bottom edge of the pallet. For the Auto-rotate on pallet option, you can also select if the default rotation direction is To long even edge (clockwise) or To long even edge (counterclockwise).
TSAC-5177 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) BVBS Export: For the Round options Up and Down, there is a new preliminary tolerance for small length differences up to 0.2 mm before performing the rounding. This ensures that values very close to exact increment are not rounded when it is not necessary.
TSAC-5345 Import, export, interoperability (concrete)

Export Unitechnik (79): You can now designate object names that consist of strings with multiple words separated by blank space using quotation marks. This can be done on any name list field within the export settings, such as the embed options on the Embeds tab.

TSAC-5354 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export ELiPLAN file (68): With a data conversion file, accessories such as steel embeds and insulation blocks can now also be quantified with custom measurement units. Previously, they were always quantified as piece count.
TSAC-5400 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Previously, braced girders with alphanumeric rebar sizes caused problems with girder depth position. This has now been fixed. Braced girder rod diameters are now obtained correctly based on the Reinforcing bars diameter setting on the Reinforcement tab.
