Command Description
New

Create a new blank project from scratch.

(droplist) Create a new project based on an existing template.

Open

Open an existing project.

Close Close the active project.
Save Save the active project.
Save As Save the active project to a new name, or to a template.
Project Wiki Open the Project Wiki dialog for recording properties associated with the project, and to record revisions.

Model Settings Open the Model Settings dialog to specify settings for the current project.

Manage Property Sets Open the Manage Property Sets dialog to Import, Export and Delete property sets.

Manage View Configurations Open the View Configurations dialog to review/name saved Views. Views may be added to reports.
Find Find and select objects by typing a part of their name.

Walk Walk through 3D views.

Settings

Open the Settings dialog, which lists available global settings sets and the settings that apply within them.

In the Settings dialog you can:

- Select a settings set in order to edit the settings within it.

- Select a settings set and click >> Active so that its settings are applied to new models.

- Import, copy, and rename settings sets.

After editing settings, you must then click OK in order to save them.

Materials Open the Materials dialog, which is used to manage the various material databases available in Tekla Structural Designer.

Embodied Carbon Factors Open the Embodied Carbon Factors dialog, which lists the factors and controls how they are assigned to the entities in the model.

Check for Updates Open the Check for Updates dialog, which is the easiest way to keep your Tekla Structural Designer installation up to date.

License Manager Open the License Manager dialog, which is used to view the status of your Tekla Structural Designer license.
