Delete entities

Select the entities that you want to delete.
For selection methods, see: Select entities.
On the Edit tab, click Delete

Note: Delete can also be accessed from the Quick Access toolbar and some of the context menus. You can also press Delete on the keyboard.

If a single entity was selected it is deleted, otherwise a dialog allows you to filter the selection before the deleting.
Uncheck any items in the dialog that you don't want to delete.
Click OK
The remaining checked items in the dialog are deleted.
Note: Items cannot be deleted if they are being used to reference other items. For example grid and construction lines cannot be deleted until the members etc. that have been placed using them have also been deleted.
