General arrangement drawings display 2D levels and frames, and can only be created in 2D views. To create general arrangement drawings, do the following:

Open a 2D view displaying the part of the model that you want to include in the drawing.
The part can be, for example, a construction level, frame, or sloped plane.

On the Draw tab, click General Arrangement.
The DXF Export Preferences dialog box opens.

Select the layer configuration and layer style for the drawing.

Set the drawing scale.

If necessary, to adjust the distance between independent lines of text, modify the minimum text block spacing.

Do one of the following:
- Accept the automatic file name.
- Clear the
Use automatic file name option and name the file yourself.

Click
OK.
The drawing opens in an available DXF application.
Note: If preferred this drawing variant can be
created as a batch, (allowing multiple drawings to be
created on a single drawing sheet).
