Open and close scene views and set the view regime

Open a Structure 3D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, double-click Structure.
    (Alternatively, right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Structure 3D view is displayed.

Open a Level 2D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Levels.
    The existing levels are listed.
  3. Double-click on the required Level.
    (Alternatively, right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Level 2D view is displayed.

Open a Frame 2D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Frames.
    The existing Frames are listed.
  3. Double-click on the required Frame.
    (Alternatively, right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Frame 2D view is displayed.

Open a Sloped Plane 2D view

Note:

Before you can view a 2D view of a sloped plane, you must create a sloped plane in your model.

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Slopes.
    The existing Slopes are listed.
  3. Double-click the required Slope.
    (Alternatively, you could right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Slope 2D view is displayed.

Open a Sub structure 3D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Sub Structures.
  3. The existing sub structures are listed.
  4. Double-click the required sub structure.
    (Alternatively, you could right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Sub structure 3D view is displayed.

Open a Sub model 3D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Sub Models.
  3. The existing sub models are listed.
  4. Double-click the required sub model.
    (Alternatively, you could right-click and select Open view from the context menu.)
A Sub model 3D view is displayed.

Open a FAM 3D view

  1. In the Project Workspace, go to the Structure tab.
  2. In the Structure tree, click the + sign next to Floor Analysis Models.
  3. The existing FAMs at each level are listed.
  4. Right-click the required FAM, and from the context menu select Edit.
The FAM 3D view is displayed.

Open a Member 3D view

  1. In a Scene View, hover the mouse over the required member to highlight it.
  2. Right-click to open the context menu.
  3. Select Open Member View from the context menu.
A Member view is displayed.

Set the view regime

There are two different ways to set the view regime, either:
  • In the Status bar at the bottom of the main window, click the desired view regime button.
  • Or, right-click on the view tab and then from the context menu, select the desired view regime.

Close views

Click x on the top right corner of the view tab.
