Apply and manage model specific settings

To apply and manage the various defaults and settings that apply to the current project, see the following instructions.

Apply and manage model settings

  1. On the Home ribbon, click Model Settings.
  2. Adjust the Model settings according to your needs.
  3. After adjusting the settings, do one of the following:
    1. To apply the changes to the current project: Click OK
    2. To save the changes back to the active settings set for future use: Click Save...
    3. To cancel the changes: Click Cancel
    4. To revert to the model settings specified in the active settings set: Click Load...
      CAUTION:

      When you save or load, all pages of the Model Settings dialog box are saved/loaded, not just those on the current page.

      Analysis settings, Design settings, Drawing settings and Slab deflection settings have their own dialog boxes and are not affected.

Apply and manage analysis settings

  1. On the Analyze ribbon, click Settings.
  2. Adjust the Analysis settings according to your needs.
  3. After adjusting the settings, do one of the following:
    1. To apply the changes to the current project: Click OK
    2. To save the changes back to the active settings set for future use: Click Save...
    3. To cancel the changes: Click Cancel
    4. To revert to the model settings specified in the active settings set: Click Load...
      CAUTION:

      When you save or load, all pages of the Analysis Settings dialog box are saved/loaded, not just those on the current page.

Apply and manage design settings

  1. On the Design ribbon, click Settings.
  2. Adjust the Design settings according to your needs.
  3. After adjusting the settings, do one of the following:
    1. To apply the changes to the current project: Click OK
    2. To save the changes back to the active settings set for future use: Click Save...
    3. To cancel the changes: Click Cancel
    4. To revert to the model settings specified in the active settings set: Click Load...
      CAUTION:

      When you save or load, all pages of the Design Settings dialog box are saved/loaded, not just those on the current page.

Apply and manage drawing settings

  1. On the Draw ribbon, click Settings.
  2. Adjust the Drawing settings according to your needs.
  3. After adjusting the settings, do one of the following:
    1. To apply the changes to the current project: Click OK
    2. To save the changes back to the active settings set for future use: Click Save...
    3. To cancel the changes: Click Cancel
    4. To revert to the model settings specified in the active settings set: Click Load...
      CAUTION:

      When you save or load, all pages of the Drawing Settings dialog box are saved/loaded, not just those on the current page.

Apply and manage slab deflection settings

  1. On the Slab Deflection ribbon, click Settings.
  2. Adjust the Slab deflection settings according to your needs.
  3. After adjusting the settings, do one of the following:
    1. To apply the changes to the current project: Click OK
    2. To save the changes back to the active settings set for future use: Click Save...
    3. To cancel the changes: Click Cancel
    4. To revert to the model settings specified in the active settings set: Click Load...
      CAUTION:

      When you save or load, all pages of the Slab Deflection Settings dialog box are saved/loaded, not just those on the current page.
