Run a combined analysis and member design
Run a combined analysis and design in order to rapidly check/design every concrete member or steel member, or every concrete member and steel member, for active gravity, static, or RSA load combinations.
Run Design Steel (Gravity)
On the Design tab, click 
Design Steel (Gravity).
Design Steel (Gravity).
Tekla Structural Designer analyzes gravity combinations only, and then designs all steel beams and columns in the model.
After design, the original member design mode assigned to each member can either be retained or updated. (For example, you might typically reset auto-designed steel members into check mode if they have a pass status.) The action that is taken is controlled via .
On completion of the design the ribbon switches to the Review tab and a Review View opens to allow you to inspect the pass/fail status and utilization ratio of each member.
