Display notional forces, minimum lateral loads and seismic equivalent lateral forces

To view the notional forces, minimum lateral loads, or seismic equivalent lateral forces that apply to a particular load combination or loadcase, see the following instructions.

View the magnitude and direction of EHF

Restriction:

The command is only applicable to the Eurocode regional code.

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Loading list, select the required EHF combination.
  3. On the Results tab, click EHF.

View the magnitude and direction of NL

Restriction:

The command is only applicable to the ACI/AISC regional code.

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Loading list, select the required NL combination.
  3. On the Results tab, click NF.

View the magnitude and direction of NHF

Restriction:

The command is only applicable to the BS, IS and Australian regional codes.

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Loading list, select the required NHF combination.
  3. On the Results tab, click NHF.

View the magnitude and direction of MLL (minimum lateral load)

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Loading list, select the required MLL loadcase or combination.
  3. On the Results tab, click MLL.

View the magnitude and direction of seismic equivalent lateral forces

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Loading list, select the required seismic loadcase or combination.
  3. On the Results tab, click Seismic.
