Tekla Structural Designer integrates with Tekla Tedds to take advantage of its design capabilities for specific member types.

Members that can be designed in this way have a Design using Tekla Tedds command available when you right click on the appropriate branch of the Project Workspace, or right click on the member in a Scene view as shown below.

If group design has been activated for the specific member type in Design Settings an additional option is provided to design the group.

Once the design of the member or group has been completed, the design data is attached to member/group and:

• the Check in Tedds command becomes available on the Design tab

  

• three extra Tedds commands are added to the right click context menu
