The design options in Tekla Structural Designer allow you to adjust the way in which your model is designed.

The different Design settings subpages enable you to, for example:

• set which analysis type is run for the design, (on the Analysis subpage)
• set reinforcement and other parameters for concrete design, (on the Concrete subpage)
• set the levels at which forces can be ignored, (on the Design Forces subpage)
• set which members to design using groups, (on the Design Groups subpage)
• control how Autodesign settings will be reset after the design, (on the Auto design subpage)
