Display mode shapes

  1. Open a view and set the view regime to Results View.

    The Results ribbon is displayed.

  2. In the Result Type group, select the required analysis type, e.g. 1st Order modal.
  3. In the Loading list, select the required loadcase or combination.
  4. In the second list of the Result Type group, select the desired mode.
  5. Still in the Result Type group, select between Mass Nomalized and Unity Nomalized results.
    Note: In the graphical view the only visible difference between Mass and Unity Normalized results is the tooltip information displayed as you hover over nodes (there is no change to mode shape).
  6. Select the diagram that you want to display.
