Job-specific production control reports
You can create different kinds of reports based on the information of the current production control job, including cut lists, bills of materials, and master load lists. You can view the reports, print them, or export them to another file format.
- In the Select Production Control Job dialog, open a job and click the Production Control ribbon tab.

On the
menu, select Reports or press Ctrl+R on the keyboard.
The Production Control Report Filters dialog opens.

To include only specific
types of items, do the following (Optional):

Select a filter type in
the Type list, and click Select.
The Filter dialog opens.

Do one of the
following depending on the filter type:
- Click the arrow buttons to move the items that you want to include in the report to the Included list.
- Type the maximum and minimum values for the items that you want to include.
- Click OK.

Select a filter type in
the Type list, and click Select.
- To include the full assemblies of all included parts in the report, select Include Full Assembly of Filtered Parts.

In Weight
Type, select the weight type that you want to use in the report.
Note: The Weight Type list is only visible if you have selected it on the Report Settings tab of the Company Standards dialog.
The net weight option is only available if CNC files have been loaded for the items included in the report.

Click
Make
Report.
The Report Selection dialog opens.
To include instance numbers on the report, select Show Instance Numbers. See Define input settings in Define company standard settings for Production Control.
- Select the report that you want to create for viewing, printing, or exporting.

Do one of the following:
To Do this View the report Click View. The report opens in Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer.
You can use the Email Excel and Email PDF buttons at the top of the Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer window to email the report.
Print the report - Change the number of the printed copies by clicking the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
- Click Print.
The Select Printer dialog opens.
- Click a printer to select it.
- Click OK.
Export the report - Click Export
The Export Options dialog opens.
- In the Export Format list, select an export format.
- To select the location where you want to save the exported file, click Browse.
- Browse to the location where you want to save the
exported file, and click Save.
You can modify the file name as needed.
- To attach the exported file to an email and send it to a recipient, select the Attach to Email checkbox.
- To open the file after exporting it, select the Open Exported Document checkbox.
- To export the file, click Export.
If you have a large job for which data processing takes time, you can select the report to run and one of the following options:
- View on completion
- Print on completion
- Export on completion
When data processing is completed, the selected action takes place automatically.
When running reports, they open in the Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer application. The application sometimes opens on a different monitor or remains minimized on the taskbar.
Next, you can view the report, print or export the report, or send the report by email.
