View the run history of an automated event

You can view the run history of an automated event, and if an error occurs, you get a brief description.

In the Automated Events dialog, you can see the status of each automated event.

In the Last Run column, red color indicates that there is an error. The Last Error column shows a short description of the error.

You can view the details of the result history and define the number of days the result history is kept.

  1. Go to Maintenance > Automated Events.

    The Automated Events dialog opens.

  2. Select the automated event whose entire result history you want to view.
  3. Click Event Properties.

The Automated Event Details dialog opens.

  4. In Save History, ensure that you have the desired number of days the result history is kept.

    Default: 30 days

0 days: The history is kept forever.

  5. Click Result History.

    The Results dialog opens.

  6. Review the result history of the automated event.

If an error has occurred during a run, the Date/Time Run column of the run is highlighted in red, and a brief description of the error is displayed in the Error Message column.

The Automated Event Status dialog opens.

  8. To close each dialog, click the Close button (X) in the upper-right corner.
