Create an automated purchase order import event
You can create an automated event to import purchase orders in an XML format to Tekla PowerFab.

Go to Maintenance > Automated
Events.
The Automated Events dialog opens.

Click New
Event.
The Automated Event Details dialog opens.
- Type a title and a description for the event.
- In Event Type, select Purchase Order XML Import.

Set the reporting
frequency.
For details, see Set the reporting frequency.

To define the directory for the import, click Event
Properties.
The Purchase Order XML Import Event Properties dialog opens.

Click the ellipsis button (
).
The Select Directory dialog opens.

Select the folder and click Select Folder.
You return to the Purchase Order XML Import Event Properties dialog.

Click the ellipsis button (
- Click Save.

In Repeat
Type, select the desired option from the menu.
