Define default input and display units for Inventory

You can define standard input and display units for the company. You can select either metric or imperial units and the units of measurement for a piece.

Note: The actual length of the item is not affected by the selection of the input type, only the displayed length.
  1. Go to Maintenance > <Module> > Company Standards.

    The <Module> Company Standards dialog opens.

  2. Click Input/Display Units.

    The Input/Display Units dialog opens.

  3. Select the measurement system and the units of measurement on the dropdown menus.
  4. Click OK.

    You return to the <Module> Company Standards dialog.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Do either of the following:
    • Click Save.

      The <Module> Job Edit dialog closes.

    • Continue to add or modify properties.
