Nest plates with SigmaNest

Open a job in Advance Bill, Estimating, Production Control or Purchasing.
Click the Advance Bill/Estimating/Production Control ribbon tab and select Combine.
The Select Combining Run dialog opens.
Click a desired combining option to select it.
The options are:
- Nest: Combines items that have area, like plates or gratings.
- Mult & Nest: Combines all items.
The Combining Run Filters dialog opens.
Enable the desired nesting software.
1. Click Optimizations.
  
  The Combining Setup dialog opens.
2. On the Plate Nesting Settings tab, in Plate Nesting Software, select SigmaNest.
3. Click Save.
  
  You return to the Combining Run Filters dialog.
To combine the materials, click Nest or press F4.

The Combining Run Results dialog opens.

In the navigation tree, the parts are under Not Combined, because the nesting software will do the combining.
Export these pieces to SigmaNest for nesting.
1. Click the Combining Run ribbon tab.
2. Select Export Parts for Nesting > Export to SigmaNest.
  
  The Export Parts for Nesting dialog opens.
3. Define the properties.
  
  Programmed By: Type a name or initials.
  
  Due date: Select a date. This is assigned to the work order in SigmaNest.
  
  Item Priority: Modify as needed.
4. Click Export Parts.
