View long-range capacity

A dashboard-style view designed for high-level planning in the Production Planner in Tekla PowerFab Go allows you to see capacity loadings across workshops and departments over an extended period of time.

The view provides visibility into long-range capacity demand, which helps production managers increase or decrease resources as needed and allows planning teams to identify and fill potential schedule gaps.

Once you have configured the properties, the chart displays the capacity loadings data as follows:

a line chart represents the capacity
a mountain or area chart represents the current planned loadings
bar chart represents the available capacity

In the Production Planner, tap the long-range capacity button.

The Long range capacity view opens.
Tap to open the Workshop menu and select the following:
- The workshop(s) and department whose capacity you want to view
- Capacity by either hours or weight
- Production or future work packages, or both
In Date interval, select the start date, end date, and if you want to display the capacity by week, month, or quarter.

The chart shows the planned (orange), available (green), and total capacity (blue line).
