When you are creating a report, the report opens in Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer in a separate application.

When running reports, the report viewer application sometimes opens on a different monitor or remains minimized on the taskbar.

There are two report engines in Tekla PowerFab, Crystal Reports and Stimulsoft. This does not have any impact on how they are run, but you may notice some minor differences in their appearance.

Crystal Reports: The functions from left to right are the following:

• Export
• Print
• Copy
• Move between pages
• Go to a specific page
• Find a text
• Zoom in and out

Stimulsoft: The functions from left to right are the following:

• Print
• Save
• Email the report
• Bookmarks
• Thumbnails
• Find a text
• Full screen
• Fit one full page in the window
• Two page view
• Multiple page view
• Fit page to window width

Both report types have three buttons on the right. You can email the report in Microsoft Excel or PDF format, and close the report.
