Manage shipping methods for purchase orders
In the Shipping Method Maintenance dialog box, you can add, modify, and delete shipping method options that are available for the purchase orders created in Purchasing. You can also select which shipping method you want to use as the default option.
- Click the Maintenance ribbon tab.
- In the menu, select Purchase Orders > Shipping Method Maintenance.

Add a new shipping method - Click New.
- In the Description field, describe the new shipping method.
- Click Add to save the new shipping method and add it to the list.
Set a default shipping method - Select the desired shipping method.
- Click Set as Default.
- To confirm using the selected shipping method as
the default option, click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
The default shipping method is marked with an asterisk (*). The same shipping method will be used by default in the Purchasing module.
Modify a shipping method - Select the shipping method that you want to modify.
- Modify the description.
- Click Edit to save the changes.
Delete a shipping method - Select a shipping method in the list.
- Click Delete.
- To permanently delete the shipping method, click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.
- To close the dialog, click the Close button (X) in the upper-right corner.
