Set drawings on hold

You can set drawings on hold. They are highlighted so that they are easy to spot.

Set a drawing on hold

Before you start, make sure you have the appropriate settings. See Define settings for drawings on hold.
  1. In the Production module, double-click to open a job.
  2. On the Production Control ribbon tab, select Drawing Log.
  3. Select the drawing that you want to put on hold.
  4. In the input area, in Approval Status, select H for Hold.
  5. Click Save and close the Drawing dialog box.
The drawing that is on hold is highlighted in red.

You can also see the status in Tekla PowerFab Go.

Set multiple drawings on hold

  1. In the Production module, double-click to open a job.
  2. On the Production Control ribbon tab, select Drawing Log.
  3. Select the drawings that you want to put on hold.

    To select all, right click the grid and, on the menu, select Select All.

    To select multiple items, hold down Ctrl.

    To select a range of subsequent items, hold down Shift.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you selected all:
      1. Select Global Edit

        The Drawing Log Global Edit Filters dialog box opens.

      2. Select Approval Status
      3. Click OK.

        The Global Edit dialog box opens.

    • If you select two or more drawings:
      1. Select Global Edit - Selected.

        The Global Edit - Selected dialog box opens.

  5. Select Approval Status and, in the drop-down list, select H for Hold.
  6. Click Save.
The drawings that are on hold are highlighted in red.
