RFI reports
You can create reports based on the existing requests for information (RFI). For example, you can create a report containing all the overdue RFIs or the RFI details. You can view the reports, print them, or export them to another file format.
Use the Reports command to create a report on all items or items that match specific filters, or use the Reports - Selected command to create a report on the selected items.
- In the Project Management module, double-click a job to open it.

right, click RFIs.
The RFI dialog box opens.

Create reports on all RFIs or specific types of RFIs - Click the Request For Information ribbon tab.
- On the
menu, select Reports or press Ctrl+R on the keyboard.
The Project Management Report Filters dialog opens.
- To create only the desired kind of reports, in the Report On section of the dialog, ensure that the correct checkboxes are selected.
- To include
only specific types of items, select a filter type in the Type list, and click Select.
The Filter dialog opens.
- Do one of
the following depending on the filter type:
- Click the arrow buttons to move the properties that you want to include in the report to the Included list.
- Type the
maximum and minimum values for the items that you want to include.t
For example, you can define the earliest and latest date for the requests that you want to include.
- Click OK.
To further limit the requests that are included in the reports, repeat steps b to d for all necessary filter types.
- Click Make Report.
Create reports on the currently selected RFIs - Select the RFIs on which you want to create the
reports.
To select multiple items, hold down Ctrl.
To select a range of subsequent items, hold down Shift.
- Click the Request For Information ribbon tab.
- On the menu, select Reports - Selected.
The Report Selection dialog opens.
- Select the report that you want to view, print, or export.

To Do this View the report Click View. The report opens in Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer.
You can use the Email Excel and Email PDF buttons at the top of the Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer window to email the report via Microsoft Outlook.
Print the report - Change the number of the printed copies by clicking the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
- Click Print.
The Select Printer dialog opens.
- Click a printer to select it.
- Click OK.
Export the report - Click Export
The Export Options dialog opens.
- In the Export Format list, select an export format.
- To select the location where you want to save the exported file, click Browse.
- Browse to the location where you want to save the
exported file, and click Save.
You can modify the file name as needed.
- To attach the exported file to a Microsoft Outlook email and send it to a recipient, select the Attach to Email checkbox.
- To open the file after exporting it, select the Open Exported Document checkbox.
- To export the file, click Export.
