Define default suppliers for Production Control

You can define default suppliers, or pricing data sets, for angles, beams, plates, rods, tubes, and other material. This way, you can use material pricing from the selected supplier pricing data sets for each material group.

To make suppliers available in the Suppliers dialog box, you must first add the suppliers in Maintenance > Pricing Maintenance. For more information, see Add a supplier warehouse.

Go to Maintenance > <Module> Company Standards.

The <Module> Company Standards dialog box opens.
Click Suppliers.

The Suppliers dialog box opens.
Select suppliers for each material group on the drop-down lists.
Click OK.

You return to the <Module> Company Standards dialog box.
Do either of the following:
- Click Save.
  The <Module> Job Edit dialog box closes.
- Continue to add or modify properties.

When you click Save, the supplier settings are updated.
