  • Assembly: The test subject is an assembly or part flagged for piece tracking in a production control job.
  • Employee: The test subject is a Tekla PowerFab user.
  • Environmental
  • General
  • Load: The test subject is a shipping load in a production control job.
  • Part: The test subject is a part in a production control job.
Title Type a unique title for the test.
Category Allows you to group together similar tests.

You can either type the category name or select an existing one in the drop-down list. When you enter a title, the category is set to match, and can then be changed to a different value.

For example, if you have several weld tests, you can set the category to Weld for all of the tests to make it easier to filter on that group of tests.

Production Station Select the production station that is marked as completed when a successful or passed test record is added.

This option is available only when the test type is set to Assembly.

Main Members Only When selected, only main members are listed as available test subjects. Accessory parts flagged for piece tracking are not available.

This option is available only when the test type is set to Assembly.

Notes Type any additional text or instructions related to performing the test.

The text in the Notes field appear in the Run Test dialog box when you add a new test record.

Test Fields The grid on the left shows all the fields that have been entered so far as part of the test definition in the order that they are presented when entering a test record.

The section on the right shows the details of the selected field.

Using the buttons, you can also add, modify, move, and delete test fields.
