Define default input and display units for Order Entry

You can define standard input and display units for the company. You can select either metric or imperial units and the units of measurement for a piece.

Note: The actual length of the item is not affected by the selection of the input type, only the displayed length.
  1. Go to Maintenance > <Module> > Company Standards.

    The <Module> Company Standards dialog box opens.

  2. Click Input/Display Units. Click Input/Display Units.

    The Input/Display Units dialog box opens.

  3. Select the measurement system and the units of measurement on the drop-down menus.
  4. Click OK.

    You return to the <Module> Company Standards dialog box.

    You return to the <Module> Job Edit dialog box.

  5. Click Save.

The input and display units are saved as defaults.
