Inventory reports

You can create different inventory reports, such as subtotal reports, shape summaries, or receiving tickets. You can view the reports, print them, or export them to another file format.

  1. In the Inventory dialog, click the Inventory ribbon tab.
  2. On the menu, select Reports or press Ctrl+R on the keyboard.

    The Inventory Report Filters dialog box opens.

  3. Select either the Inventory Report or Inventory Location Report option.
  4. To include only specific types of items, do the following (Optional):
    1. Select a filter type in the Type list, and click Select.

      The Filter dialog opens.

    2. Do one of the following depending on the filter type:
      • Click the arrow buttons to move the items that you want to include in the report to the Included list.
      • Type the maximum and minimum values for the items that you want to include.
    3. Click OK.
  5. If you want to view the inventory situation of a previous date in the reports, do the following:
    1. Click From Archive.
    2. Select the archive date and time in the applicable lists.
    3. Click OK.
  6. To view barcode audit reports in the Report Selection dialog box, select the Barcode Audit checkbox.
  7. Click Make Report.

    The Report Selection dialog opens.

  8. Select the report that you want to create for viewing, printing, or exporting.
  9. Do one of the following:
    To Do this
    View the report Click View.

    The report opens in Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer.

    You can use the Email Excel and Email PDF buttons at the top of the Tekla PowerFab Report Viewer window to email the report via Microsoft Outlook.

    Print the report
    1. Change the number of the printed copies by clicking the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.
    2. Click Print.

      The Select Printer dialog opens.

    3. Click a printer to select it.
    4. Click OK.
    Export the report
    1. Click Export

      The Export Options dialog opens.

    2. In the Export Format list, select an export format.
    3. To select the location where you want to save the exported file, click Browse.
    4. Browse to the location where you want to save the exported file, and click Save.

      You can modify the file name as needed.

    5. To attach the exported file to a Microsoft Outlook email and send it to a recipient, select the Attach to Email checkbox.
    6. To open the file after exporting it, select the Open Exported Document checkbox.
    7. To export the file, click Export.
