Work packages in Tekla PowerFab Go

As a Production Manager, you can view and reprioritize work packages, reassign them to a new workshop, and put them on hold. As a shop-floor worker, you can see a list of relevant work packages and access the key areas of Tekla PowerFab Go for a specific work package, including drawings, assemblies and parts, cut lists, production tracking, production status, inspections, shipping, and dashboards (subject to permissions).

Note: You must have the appropriate remote permissions to manage work packages. The users with administrative rights can modify the permissions.

Access the Work Packages view

  1. To access the Work Packages view, do either of the following:
    • On the home page, tap Work Packages.
    • Tap the file menu button (), and on the menu, select Work Packages.

    The Work Packages view opens with the Filter menu on top.

  2. To narrow down the data that you want to view or manage, select the desired items in the filter and close the filter.

    The filter is saved and available when you log in to Tekla PowerFab Go the next time. The results depend on the permissions that the logged-in user has been given. See Manage Tekla PowerFab remote user permissions.

    : Opens the filter dialog.

    : Tap to manually search by work package or job number

    : Priority: Tap to edit priority

    Status: The current status of the work package. Tap to enable the edit options

    Work Package #: Work package name. Tap to open the details view

    Description: Work package description

    Start Date, Due Date: Work package start and due dates

    Notes: Any additional information

    : Opens a work package

    : Opens a menu for adding or removing columns

    • : Tap to change the color scheme
    • : Drag and drop to change the order of columns

View the details of a work package

To open a work package, do either of the following:
  • Tap the work package name in Work Package #.
  • Tap .

Priority (in the upper-right corner): Tap to change the priority

Release: Tap to release or unrelease the work package

Set on hold: Tap to place the work package on hold or to remove the hold status

Edit: Tap to open the work package details for editing

Links on the right: Tap to view production status details by work package.

Depending on your selection, a new tab opens displaying all associated assemblies, drawings, cut lists, piece tracking results, production status, inspections, or shipping loads prefiltered by the corresponding work package

Modify work package details

  1. Open a work package.
  2. To edit properties, tap .

    The work package details open for editing.

  3. Change any of the properties and tap Apply.
