Labor codes are the primary method of applying labor timings to an estimate.

1. Open an Estimating job.

   The Type column contains the labor codes applied to each estimate item.

   

2. To apply a labor code to a new estimate item, select a labor code in Type in the input area.

   The total estimated hours in the summary area is updated.

3. To view all labor operations and their labor times for the selected item, double-click the item. (Optional)

   The Labor Diagnostic dialog box opens.
