Set job groups for combining jobs

Job groups allow you to identify and classify jobs that are similar. This makes filtering and reporting easier when you have a long list of jobs.

You can, for example, record the client and industry sector, but you can create your own system to best suit your needs.

Go to Maintenance > <Module> > Job Maintenance.

The Job Maintenance dialog box opens.
Select the jobs for which you want to create a job group.

To select multiple jobs, hold down Ctrl.

To select a range of subsequent jobs, hold down Shift.
Click Update Selected.
Select if you want to add or update the primary group or the secondary group name.
Type a name for the group.
Click OK.

You can find the job groups in the navigation tree in the module and use them for filtering jobs.
