You can now set a shipping schedule in the production dashboard in Tekla EPM Go. The new shipping calendar functionality helps you improve the way you plan and organize your loads across all jobs. The shipping calendar shows your loads in a visual calendar view that lets you easily see what is scheduled to be shipped and when.

For example, you can first start in the month view to see all of the loads that have been planned for this month. You can view every load for every job in a single screen, with its expected shipping date and current loading status. The progress percentage is based on the assemblies that have been marked as loaded. Once the load has been fully built and marked as shipped, the calendar will automatically update the load status and display the actual day the load was dispatched.

You can view the calendar by year, month, week, or day, and you can scroll through the dates using the date picker.

You can set your preferred units of measure and the first day of the week. You can also filter loads by job, destination, shipping route, load status, and so on.

With the coloring options you can see at a glance what the current shipping situation looks like.

• Status: (the default) Use this option to see the real-time progress and loading statuses.

• Trailer: Use this option to see if a particular trailer has been double-booked, for example.

• Carrier: If you are using third-party carriers, use this option to see which ones are being utilized for each load.

• Destination: Use this option to see if you have loads from different jobs going to the same galvaniser, for example, to combine the shipments and reduce costs.

• Job: Use this option to see all loads for a given job and to ensure that you are on schedule.

To schedule loads, you can either use the planned shipping date in the load properties in Tekla EPM or you can schedule loads directly in the shipping calendar.

You can schedule loads directly in the calendar by dragging them from this list onto the correct day. Note that the performance of the drag-and-drop tool depends on your device.

The DSTV+ export functionality has been added to Tekla EPM Go. You can now download DSTV+ files for the overall nesting, rather than the individual DSTV files.
