Fixes & Enhancements
- [TSD-12629] - New British Steel Advance sections added - BS and Eurocode
The UK sections for the UB and UC section types have been updated to match the new British Steel catalogs published in 2022. All existing sections of these types not in the 2022 catalog are marked with a # symbol with associated Footnote "Check Availability".
Note the following:- For some existing sections the root radius (r2) has changed which has resulted in (small) changes in some other properties. Consequently in existing models, small differences in analysis results and design resistance may occur in some cases. The following design checks are potentially affected; Moment, Combined Axial & Bending, LTB, or Combined Buckling.
- New models created in this release will use the revised values automatically.
- For existing models in Tekla Connection Designer, new sections are available in existing models by navigating to the Section selection dialog.
- For existing models in Tekla Portal Frame Designer, auto-design must be re-run in order to use the new section data. If this is not done, the new and updated sections will not appear in the datalist because the existing sections that are selected will have been chosen from the old datalist. Therefore, attempting to simply edit the sections will open the old datalist from which the existing selections were selected.
- [TSD-8913] Member stability checks could report incorrect and inconsistent results due to incorrect calculation of the value of Rs and Rmax. This is now corrected.
- [TSD-13445] A project would fail to generate when exported to Portal Frame Designer if the any of the special load-case titles: Dead (load-case of type dead), Imposed (load-case of type imposed) and Services (load-case of type dead) had duplicate loadcase names in TSD. The import of these load-cases has been enhanced so that in this situation the project is now generated.
