Tekla PowerFab 2022i release notes

Welcome to Tekla PowerFab 2022i!

The 2022i version offers improvements and new functionalities that increase flexibility and accuracy in material management and ensure error-free purchasing and production.

New time-saving functionalities are now also available in the mobile tool Tekla PowerFab Go.

Settings for drawings on hold in Production Control

You can now select different actions for how piece tracking, load tracking, and shipping handles drawings that are placed on hold. This gives you confidence that your production will not continue processing items that are on hold.

For more information, see Define settings for drawings on hold in Define company standard settings for Production Control and Set drawings on hold.

Settings for drawings on hold in Purchasing

You can now select different actions while tracking production, performing inspections, shipping, combining, and purchasing items that have been placed on hold. This will allow greater control of items or prevent processing of items that are on hold or whose status is assigned a hold purpose.

For more information, see Define settings for drawings on hold in Define company standard settings for Production Control and Set drawings on hold.

Swap bar lengths in Cut Lists

Managing cut lists is now more flexible. Before cutting a bar, you can select an alternative bar from the inventory. The cut list will be automatically adjusted according to the new bar length without recombining.

For more information, see Swap a cut list item in Manage cut lists.

Improved organization in the Document Index

The project-level organization of your documentation is improved. The system now automatically creates folders by the available variables in the Document Index.

For more information, see Set the standard categories for attached documents.

Support contact tool

You can now create a support ticket directly from the About menu within Tekla PowerFab. An option to create a ticket is also available in an error dialog box.

For more information, see Contact support.
