How to add a watermark in drawings

Tekla Structures doesn’t have direct options to add custom watermarks in the drawing. However, you can use the workaround below.
You can either:
- Add the required watermark to the template & call them in the drawing.
- Add the watermark from PDF printer settings. See the instructions below.
- Go to File menu > Print drawings.
- In the left-hand side pane, select Printer.
- Select the PDF-Xchange Printer [version] (a third party software), and click Properties.

- In printer properties, go to Watermarks, and click New.

- Enter the watermark name and text, and set the colour, rotation, and opacity.
- Click OK.

- After adding the water mark, select Enable Printing Watermark and click OK.

When you print the drawings, they will have the watermark.
