• Check your internet connection, for it is needed during license activation and deactivation. A low speed connection can also cause problems.

• Check your firewall settings and disable firewalls and antivirus softwares if needed. These may block the activation or deactivation processes. You can also create an exception to the firewall which allows the following .exe files:  lmgrd.exe, lmutil.exe and tekla.exe found in ...\TeklaStructures\License\Server.

• Try to login as an administrator.

• Close the Tekla License Administration Tool and try to activate or deactivate the license later.

• Try to activate or deactivate another license.

• If there are un-finalized updates on the server, rebooting the computer usually helps to finalize the updates. Reboot the server and then try again to activate or deactivate the licenses.
