Question:
What would cause the change of object (assembly) ID?
Answer:
There are some actions which might cause the change of object IDs:
- Copy from model: when you copy the same object from another model the duplicate will get new ID number
- When changing some child objects of the assembly
- It may happen sometimes that IDs of child objects of components change when component is recreated
GUIDs of the objects are not changing when ID changes.
