Open a project

You can have one project open at a time. If you open a project and already have one open, Tekla Structural Designer prompts you to save the first project.

Note: You can quickly open a recently used project, simply be selecting it from the 'Recent documents' list that is displayed on the File menu.

On the Home tab, click Open
Browse to the required folder, then select a project in the list.
To open the selected project, click Open or double-click the project.
Your project opens and you will see:
- The scene views and Properties window as they were displayed the last time the project was saved.
- The Project Workspace as it was displayed the last time the project was saved.
