I received an email inviting me to join an organization as an employee. What is it?
You receive an email inviting you to join an organization when your company’s administrator adds you to your company’s Tekla organization. Usually this company is the company that you work for.
You can only be an employee in one Tekla organization at a time. If you are already an employee in an organization and you accept an invitation to join another organization, your Online Profile moves to that organization.
The Tekla organization that you belong to can also affect your access to your organization's data stored in the cloud, such as Tekla Model Sharing models. Do not change between organizations unnecessarily.
- To join the organization, click the link in the email. If your organization has a maintenance contract with Trimble, you get access to additional content when you join the organization.
- If you only need to use subscriptions and access rights in the organization, you can join the organization as an external license user. Contact the company's administrator and request to be added as an external license user.

You receive an email inviting you to join an organization as an external license user when an administrator adds you to their organization as an external license user.
Joining an organization as an external license user allows you to use the organization's subscriptions and access rights without belonging to the organization as an employee.
You can be an external license user in several organizations at the same time. Joining an organization as an external license user does not change your employee or external license user status in any other organizations.

I received an email inviting me to join a group. What is it?
You receive an email inviting you to join a group when an administrator adds you to a user group. When you belong to a user group, you get access to features and services.
To join the group, click the link in the email.
Can I be an employee in more than one organization?
You can only be an employee in one Tekla organization at a time. If you are already an employee in an organization and you accept an invitation to join another organization, your Online Profile moves to that organization.

The organization that you belong to as an employee is shown as the Company on the My organization page of your Online Profile.

I deleted the email inviting me to join an organization. What do I do now?
You can see the invitations that you have received on the My organization page of your Online Profile profile.
- Sign in to your Online Profile.
- Go to the My organization page of your user profile.
- To accept the invitation, click Accept
I have been sent an invitation to join my organization but have not received it. What do I do now?
If you do not receive the invitation to join your company's organization in your inbox, check your spam or junk email folder. If the email is not in your spam or junk email folder, it is likely that your company’s email system or firewall is stopping emails from arriving.
Invitations to join an organization come from the tekla.online@trimble.com email address. Contact your domain administrator and ask them to allow emails from *@trimble.com.
