You can export Tekla Structures models as .skp files to be used in Trimble
SketchUp.
Trimble SketchUp is
a modeling software used in architecture, construction, engineering, and landscape
architecture, for example. 3D Warehouse contains lots of SketchUp models
that you can import as reference models to Tekla Structures.
You can insert Sketchup files as reference
models to Tekla Structures. For more information about inserting reference models, see
Insert a reference model.
Tekla Structures supports SketchUp version 2021 and earlier in export and
reference model insert.
Export a model to SketchUp

Select the model objects to export.
If you want to export all
objects, you do not have to select anything. We recommend exporting large
models in smaller portions.

On the File menu, click .

On the Parameters tab, browse to the desired Output file location and enter the file name.
By default, the file is exported to the model folder.

In Version, select the desired SketchUp version.

On the Advanced tab, select the objects that you want to export.
You can export:
Parts
Reinforcing bars
Surface treatment
Pour objects
Bolts
Welds

Click Create selected.
If have not selected any model
objects, and want to export everything, click Create all.
The export file is created in the specified
folder.
