Embodied carbon assessment in Tekla Structural Designer

Engineers can now assess their designs for embodied carbon at the Early-Stage Design Phases (A1, A2 and A3) using Tekla Structural Designer.
This tutorial will show that assessment is simple and instantaneous alllowing an engineer to:

• Compare Embodied Carbon vs Design Utilization.

• Breakdown Embodied Carbon by Material, Member Type, Slab, etc.

• Compare different scheme options.

• Track progress as they make refinements to drive down the carbon impact.

• View where most of the Embodied Carbon is in the Structure using Review Features provided within the software.
