Why does automatic drawing hatching not work for (custom) material with certain characters?

When you divide new material to the material catalog, you can set automatic hatching in the .htc files.
Remember that certain characters are not supported by the .htc files.

The following characters are not supported in the material:
e.g. # Æ Ø / Å Ä Ö € $ £ ß Œ Ê Ï

Text in the .htc file:
MISCELLANEOUS,INSULATIONØ20mm,HARD_INS1,1,,1

More common characters are supported:
e.g. ? @ ~ { } [ ] ! + = & ( )

Text in the .htc file:
MISCELLANEOUS,INSULATION(20mm),HARD_INS1,1,,1
