Question
Whilst creating a model in Tekla Structural Designer, I attempted to save the model file and received the following error message.Image
Do you have any idea what has caused this and how I can save the work I’ve done?
Answer
There are three potential ways to get around this issue:- Try saving under a different file name and in a local location, such as your desktop etc.
- Try saving the core of the file (File > Save Model Only). This will save a copy of the model, but strips out all of the analysis and design results. This means that these processes will need to be repeated.
- We have discovered that there is a conflict between Tekla Structural Designer and Dell Backup and Recovery. To resolve this you can either;
- Uninstall Dell Backup & Recovery (it is more often simply bloatware and we suspect you are not using it) OR
- Rename the System.Data.SQLite.dll which is located at:C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell Backup and Recovery\Components\Shell\System.Data.SQLite.dllOLD
Please note that this may impact the Dell Backup and Recovery program that we are not aware of.
