When using Tekla Online Licensing why does Tedds for Word not open?

Issue
Tedds for Word will not open. When I launch it, it seems to hang and I just see the Microsoft Word statup screen saying "Processing..." as shown in the picture below. I am using Tekla Online Licensing. Why is this and what can I do to fix it?
Resolution
This is happening because your Trimble Identity token is not being correctly refreshed when Word is starting up. Our developers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. In the meantime you can workaround the issue as described below.
Workaround
Launch the Tedds application which will successfully refresh your identity token. Then load Tedds for Word.
Alternatively, if you have enabled the option to always show the Tedds Tab on the Word Ribbon (as shown in picture below), you can open Microsoft Word on its own and then click one of the Tedds ribbon commands - e.g. the Library Access System - which will load the Tedds for Word Add-in successfully (the problem only occurs when the token is refreshed while Word is starting up)
