When trying to activate a PAK I get an activation error - "Server execution failed" - how do I fix this?

Resolution

The License Service requires .Net 4 or later to be installed and working correctly

For Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 .Net 4.5.1 comes as part of the operating system and would just need to be enabled via the "Turn Windows features on or off"

For earlier version of Windows this is a separate download from Microsoft website.
